Hi Team (Producers, Producer Affiliates and Small Biz Owners)
I will probably start using this strategy of doing direct blog posts from my site to give you value - helping you with growing your business and customer base.
Over the past 8 or 9 years, I've been producing video content for local business owners here in Las Vegas (Worked in the Hollywood film and television industry for 31+ years). I had an internal creative process when it came to creating videos that I thought were effective.
Recently I came across a resource that I thought would be helpful when it comes to structuring your videos. You don't have to follow it exactly. It just a very good example of storytelling within your marketing videos or structuring text base ads or blog posts.
Please take from this and work it into your marketing.
Here is the structure below (pdf from Dominate Web Media to your right) I took the liberty of putting my twist on there information - but you can download a pdf from their site.
1.) PATTERN INTERRUPT
Within the first 10 seconds of the video, stop your viewer in their tracks and hook them. Wake them up with the unexpected. This maybe visually or verbally.
2.) EDUCATE THE VIEWER
You can educate them with a fact about the product or service you are offering. Just like a teaser and keeping their attention.
3.) TIME TO CONNECT TO YOUR AUDIENCE
People can relate to you when you talk about vision or personal goals. Get them to see what you see.
4.) THE WHAT IF YOU DON'T TAKE THE OFFER - FEAR OF NOT BEING INCLUDED
You have to paint that picture, what may happen if they don't go down that path you are presenting. Maybe the potential problems that will occur.
5.) LAY ON THE DETAILS AND EDUCATION
This is where you lay it down in detail all the benefits of your product or services. You want to take the viewer from the fear of missing out to what is possible when they take the offer.
6.) THE FINAL WORDS - CALL TO ACTION
Once they watch the video - you have to tell the viewer what to do. What step they need to take next. If you don't ask you don't get right.
Here is my personal CALL TO ACTION.
If you would like information or posts like this - Join my mailing list below.
I want to educate you on growing your businesses with video and social media. Small things that you can implement in your small business, non-profit or big idea.
I also offer training programs, that I am affiliated with. Yes, it is another way that I create income by earning commissions on each sale.
If you sign up you will have access to some of the best internet marketing education for free. Now If you decide to join, I will receive a commission, plus you will be able to earn a commission to if you implement and take action on the steps provided.
Most important to me is that you take the information above and implement it into your marketing strategy for your business. Don't be like me like I did years ago. Read it and not take action. I started putting what I preach into practice and it has changed my productivity to the point I am referring work to other producers and producer affiliates in my network.
LAST NOTE, JUST TAKE ACTION. Get your video camera, smartphone and start shooting. Or apply this to your writing a blog post on your website and your email list.

If you want big results for less work, then Twitter is the site for you. Why write a long message to people who are interested in what you have to say when 140 characters will do?
That’s all you get to communicate with on Twitter, but it makes it easy to keep busy on the site. A minute or two here and there and you will soon have plenty of followers hanging onto your every word.
Some people have even created a series of necessarily short pieces of advice, labeling them ‘1 of 12’ and so on, to create interest. It works well, too, and simply experimenting with using the 140 character limit to your advantage can create some good results.
It is one of the platforms that I have connected with many businesses and converted into a meeting / job opportunity.
Don't under-estimated the power of twitter.
